Goodbye "Phantom of the Opera"

'Phantom' closed its record run at the Majestic on Sunday. After 35 years and nearly 14,000 performances, 'Phantom' took its final bow. It is, by far, the longest-running show in Broadway history opening in January of 1988, Andrew Lloyd Webber's masterpiece has played to audiences of over 20 million, grossing over $1.3 billion. An estimated 6,500 people have been employed by the production – including over 400 actors – and it took a cast, orchestra and crew of 125 to put on the show.
