Rocktober Spotlight: Lynyrd Skynyrd

50 years ago, the band released their first album (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd). It sold over one million copies and was awarded a gold disc by the RIAA. The album featured the hit song "Free Bird", which eventually hit the Top 20 on the U.S. charts. We're featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd on these channels as today's "Rocktober Spotlight"
