Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" is 100!

Born Jacob Gershwine on September 26, 1898 in Brooklyn -- he composed "Rhapsody in Blue" at the age of 26. His musical career began at 15, when he was a "song plugger" on New York City's Tin Pan Alley. We're featuring the works of George Gershwin on the 100th of anniversary of Rhapsody in Blue's premiere at New York's Aeolian Hall.
