Birthday: The B-52s' Fred Schneider (7/1/51)

Schneider was a founding member of the B-52s and was born Newark, New Jersey. His trailblazing band, gave birth to the New Wave movement in Athens, Georgia. The band's first single was "Rock Lobster" which was recorded for DB Records in 1978. We're featuring Fred's ground-breaking rock textures on these channels.
