The seminal debut from British progressive rock outfit King Crimson is called In the Court of the Crimson King (An Observation by King Crimson), and was released October 10, 1969. The album is one of the first and most influential of the progressive rock genre, where the band largely discarded much of the blues influences that rock music was founded upon with elements of jazz, classical, and symphonic music. We feature tracks from it, and other King Crimson music, on these channels.
