Adam was the Fountains of Wayne ("Stacey's Mom") and Ivy songwriter who succumbed to Covid-19 at the age of 52 on April 1, 2020. (He also wrote the title song to the Tom Hanks movie "That Thing You Do!", "Master of the Seas" for "Ice Age: Continental Drift" and countless other songs for TV and film).
