Gone too soon: Digital Underground's Shock G aka Humpty Hump

Shock G, the rapper, songwriter and producer who helped take hip-hop into the pop mainstream in the early 1990s with “The Humpty Dance” by his Oakland-based group Digital Underground, has died. This follows the untimely passings of DMX and Black Rob (all three were just in their 50s). Check out Digital Underground on these channels.
